The Rotary Club of McHenry welcomed Barb Swanson of the Pioneer Center as guest speaker, Thursday, January 16th, at their noon meeting in the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post on North Park Street in McHenry.
Ms. Swanson presented her program on PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) a special community outreach of the Pioneer Center for the homeless. A ten minute video included actual homeless people telling their stories on how this ministry helped them rebuild their lives and dignity.
