Rotary Foundation Centennial

On Sunday, November 13, 2016, members of the Rotary Club of McHenry attended the 100th Anniversary of Rotary Foundation Banquet in Arlington Heights. Those who attended included Fr. Godwin Nsikan-Ubom Asuquo, Pastor of Saint Patrick Church in McHenry, Denis and Michelle Buch of Boone Creek Cabinetry & Design, Ron and Linda Bykowski (Ron is the Chairman of the Rotary Club of McHenry Charitable Foundation, Inc.), Rev. Lori M. Lowe, Rector of Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, and Rev. William (Bill) McLemore, Rector of Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church and President of the Rotary Club of McHenry.
The speaker was Past Rotary Foundation Trustee, Sam Owori from Uganda who is also the Rotary International President-elect for the year 2018-2019. He is a member of the Kampala Rotary Club. Sam Owori shared various aspects of the Rotary Foundation's profound impact in the world.
