President Webb gonged the Bell twice to quite the 27 Rotarians attending today’s meeting . Opening duties went to a very tan snowbird, Welter who lead us in the Pledge, A G Brewer,  who lead the 4-way test, Don Weingart started us in a song and retired Pro-Prayer  William McLemore said Grace.

Announcements

 

The Club voted, approving the following donations from the Club Foundation.

Wonder Lake Food Pantry - $1,000

St. Paul Diaper Bank - $1,000

NISRA Special Olympics - $1,000

Build a Dream ( home and school project in Mexico) - $1,000

 

We will also be donating $500 to the Vietnam Memorial in Veterans Park, from the Dean fund $500 to a vocational scholar and DECA,  $700 to FISH and $500 to Home of the Sparrow.    

 

BB&B meeting 4/21 and we received a $250 donation from The McHenry Saving Bank.

 

Academic Scholarship  interviews will be at East on 4/24 at 5:30, come in the East door to the North.

 

Kathy will be heading up a Breakfast to gather ideas for the McHenry County Foundation, see her if interested.

 

Rotary Run.  Tony Huemann noted that progress is being made and we are considering an August event with a theme of Anti-bulling.

Program   All the way from the Canadian Rockies via helicopter, with his certified W.A.F.  equipment our very own Jim Vyduna on back country Alpine Touring.
